AN EXPERIMANTAL STUDY ON THE EFFECTS OF SOPUNGSAN AND GAMISOPUNGSAN

Abstract
The studies were attempted experimental effects of sopungsan and gamisopungsan on the analgesia, antipyretic, antiinflammatory action, delayed-type hypersensitivity, and vascular permeability responses to intradermal histamine in mice.
Sample A was a dried extract of Sopungsan treated
group (301 mg/200 g, P.O.)
Sample B was a dried extract of Gamisopungsan
treated group (480 mg/200 g, P.O.)
The result of studies were as follows:
1) Analgesia action by Acetic acid method was showed sigilificant effect at all samples, especially sample A was showed more significant effect than sample B.
2) Analgesia action by Acetylcholine-HCl method was showed significant effect in sample B.
3) Analgesia action by Randall-Selitto method was showed significant effect at all samples, especially sample B was showed more significant effect from 3 hours to after 4 hours than sample A.
4) Antipyretic action by yeast method was showed significant effect at all samples, especially sample B was showed more significant effect from after 2 hours to after 6 h )urs than sample A.
5) Ant inflammatory action by carageen.ine method was showed significant effect at all samples, especially sample 3 was showed more significant effect than sample .r,.
6) Del tyed-type hypersensivity was significantly sup-pressed in sample B.
7) Vw cular permeability responses to intradermal histamine was suppressed in sample B.
8) Sariple B was showed more significant effect than sample k in analgesia, antipyretic, antiimflammatory action, )TH and vascular permeability response to histamir a but analgesia action by acetic acrid method.
Accor ling to the above result, it can be concluded that Sod ungsan and Gamispopungsan had a remarkable effect oii the treatment of dermatic disease caused by pung Yi I(JEA),
